We the people of Kazumung (Kabong) District as again gazetted (Gazette No 6 Volume 3, 11th September 2022), wish to state categorically that the concluding policies of your led government can be said to be pointing to the Biblical saying that, “the end of the matter is better than the beginning, and patience is better than pride” (Ecclesiastes 7:8).
To be more specific sir, the creation of the new and the upgrading of the existing chiefdoms and districts has brought joy to many lovers of Plateau, and also the apprehension of trouble merchants as usual. Herewith, we congratulate all legatees who are our true Plateau sons and daughters!
This among many is the fulfilment of one of your campaign promises to the people of Plateau! To this end, we sincerely implore the Good Lord to grant you His speed and wisdom to ‘finish strong’ for the benefit of the Plateau man and the glory of His name!
We, like ‘Oliver Twist’, pray that you will consider the creation of Local Government Development Areas too! This will help to bring governance closer to the people.
